Open Capital Advisors submits Kenya’s National PUE Strategy Inception Report!
The Kenya Ministry of Energy has received the Inception Report for the National Productive Use of Energy (PUE) Strategy, developed by Open Capital Advisors with support from COMESA ASCENT and the World Bank.
The Strategy will link energy access to economic transformation, strengthen ties between energy, agriculture, and industry, and enhance electrification’s impact across sectors.
Dr. Bernard Dzawanda (COMESA Secretariat) emphasized that energy access must drive livelihoods and industrialization, while Eng. George Nyongayo (Ministry of Energy) highlighted PUE’s role in agro-processing, MSME growth, and job creation under Vision 2030 and BETA.
